Event Requests
Published: September 26, 2025
My name is Caspar Sullivan, and I am the incoming Association Manager for Spiritas Ranch, replacing Cinnamon Anderson following her recent promotion at Essex. I wanted to make a brief introduction as well as address this weekend’s event request to the HOA.
Given the tight timeframe given to the HOA for event approval for this weekend, this event will neither be HOA-approved nor HOA-funded. That being said, the residents are welcome to use the HOA common areas whenever they please.
HOA-approved events often require additional insurance, approval from the Town of Little Elm (not only Little Elm PD), and a few other boxes to be checked to ensure a safe and fun event for all. Because of that, we ask moving forward that residents give 30-day notice to myself or another Essex representative for an event request. Similarly, cities like Little Elm and Frisco ask for the same advanced notice when seeking formal event approval.
Should there be a celebratory gathering around the community over the weekend, the Association will neither be liable or fiduciarily responsible for the celebrations taking place. Please keep in mind, both the Association’s governing documents and the Little Elm Code alludes to noise ordinances. Should you have any concerns regarding noise level or the location of the event throughout the weekend, we encourage you to reach out to Little Elm Code Compliance. You can reach out to them via the link below, should it be necessary.

You may also reach out to the HOA via the “Contact Us” tab on the Association’s website, and an Essex representative will respond back to you as soon as possible. Next week, I will send out more information on how to formally request an event with the HOA to ensure adequate notice for our homeowner functions moving forward! Thank you, all, and have a great weekend.
